One for the minimalists...

Robert Hood : Material 39

Nice dancefloor mix from one of the founding fathers of minimal techno.

Some comments from the man nearly the mix and previews here

This is fucking brilliant.

I watched an awesome ring called 'Lonesome and Penniless Cowboys' concluding nighttime, who introduced themselves as 'we play Hank Williams, that's pretty much all we practise', simply they made my evening. Especially when they were joined past Richard Hawley on a blistering version of 'That's alright (mama)', then by him and his uncle, Sheffield blues legend Frank White, on 'Mystery Train'....

ane of those privileged moments :)

Here nosotros are Jim :)

Here we are Jim :)

Thanks Bubbs, I turned 31 today and then I'll be needing them :P

Getting old age is a state of mind....no need to sign up early

Hercules and the Dearest Affair If you lot like Robert Owens era Mr Fingers, Theo Parrish and David Mancuso/Arthur Russell/Larry Levan 'proper' disco so you'll dear this.  It's been in the printing a fleck due to the presence of Anthony Hegarty providing vocals on some tracks.  Quality firm/disco/electro.  Brilliant.

Good phone call with the Yoda and Greenpeace EM Slack-line. I dear the Jamie Oliver flake!!

I've been hammering Soulseek for EM's recently. Of particular annotation were:

D Ramierez 13/05/07
Eric Prydz 04/03/07
TC 19/01/08 which is absolutley belting D&B. I oasis't stopped playing it of late.
Dubfire 02/09/07
Chris Lake 05/08/05

All of the above come highly recommended, with TC being out of this world.

Anyone heard Thom Yorke's The Eraser LP yet?

Not got the LP but listening to Surgeon's RMX of The Clock on rotation

DL Link  Wouldn't call information technology techno really, but I've heard information technology in lots of tech sets - it works.  128 kbps

the eraser is a great album. anything that guy touches is gold.

Wrap your earholes around this shizzle. Should appease coincidental listeners and connoisseurs alike. My copy is in the post, a bargain price too.

Only played this the once but it is encarmine fantabulous - top quality blues.

Can anyone recommend annihilation similar every bit I feel the demand to investigate dejection a scrap more and any pointers to some real old school slide guitar blues gratefully received as well.
